Where in the Interview Order Is Best?

  • On June 17, 2023

If you are given a choice of interview dates, when should you pick? Try to go first or last if you are an on-point candidate. If you go first, you will set the standard, and everyone else will be judged against you. Also, if an interviewer has to reschedule, you will likely have more options than if you picked another slot.

But going last also can work because you will be remembered, though you also run the risk of being compared to a favorite.

Avoid the middle, where it’s hard to stand out.
