‘Tis the Season for Holiday Parties: What to Do at Them!

I like this article on leveraging your network. Amuse yourself at holiday parties and practice these pointers:

1. Make it a game to figure out what makes someone tick, what they are passionate about, and what makes them interesting.
2. Follow up! If you have a great conversation, don’t let the momentum die. Send a thank you note. Even better, offer an intro or resource related to your chat.
3. Use tech/apps to connect on social networks (LinkedIn at a minimum!).
4. Offer something in return first. This is my favorite!
